Pairing the All New T10S to the T Series | ADAM Audio

Description
ADAM Audio brings studio professionals and home recordists alike the T10S, a powered studio subwoofer designed to complement their T5V and T7V near-field monitors. Packed into its compact cabinet is a 10" down-firing woofer paired with a 130W Class-D amplifier, delivering a frequency response from 28Hz to 120Hz and a maximum sound pressure level of 104dB.
Tailored Crossover Provides Seamless Integration
The T10S features an internal two-channel crossover with adjustable settings, allowing you to calibrate the subwoofer to match your ADAM Audio monitors. Tweak the crossover frequency and slope for optimized blending, ensuring a smooth transition from your monitors' bass response to the T10S's low-end extension. The result is a balanced, full-range system with tight, controlled lows that won't overpower your mix.
Flexible Controls Compensate for Any Environment
The T10S offers rear-panel controls that provide flexibility based on your studio's acoustics. An adjustable low-pass filter sets the subwoofer's upper frequency limit, allowing you to restrict its range to only the lowest frequencies if desired. You can also control the subwoofer level to properly balance it with your monitors. These useful controls, combined with the subwoofer's compact size, allow it to integrate seamlessly into any studio environment.
Robust, Optimized Design
ADAM Audio engineered the T10S for optimal performance, from its 10" long-throw woofer to its rear bass-reflex port. Four high-grade rubber feet prevent vibrations from transferring to the floor, enabling the most accurate bass reproduction. The port provides enhanced low-frequency extension and output, despite the subwoofer's compact size. All components are carefully matched for a powerful yet tightly controlled low end at high output levels.

Very punchy. I use this sub with two M-audio 8'' monitors. I am a dj and this set up is what I practice with at home in my studio. Not gonna lie this thing humps. And I'm the guy who loves nice deep bass and always look for the best. So trust me, you will not be disappointed with this Sub for home studio use.

I use the TS10 with a 10 year old pair of Adam A7s. Crystal clear, well defined. I bought the subwoofer for the added depth and separation. My only complaint is that the crossover frequency is only switchable between 80 and 120 hz. I have it set at 80, and the sound is perfect.

Would the T10 sub suffice in a small studio(15/20) with the Adam A7x. Sub8 is a little pricey right now.

Does it make sense bass-wise to use a T10sub with two T8Vs, or can I get all the bass I need with the T8vs without the sub? Thanks.
You'll get more of the low frequency than the note with a sub. It's really a personal preference and use. Personally I would not do a mix using a sub.submitted4 years ago

does connection to T5V create a highpass signal for the T5V, relieving it of some LF burden"bass management"? Thanks, Jerry
No, That's more of a design for live applications.
