Built to order by A&F Drum Co. in Austin, Texas, A&F'ers Bell Series steel snare drums are constructed entirely from raw metal, from the shell to the hardware and custom badge. This specific drum is made from a thin 4.8 mm steel shell, which is rolled and welded by hand to ensure that it resonates freely and evenly. The high, unflanged brass hoops are secured with vintage brass claw hooks and lugs, and the entire product is treated with a special formula to jump-start the natural patina process. As a result, no two of these snares will look exactly alike.

Each drum weighs 20+ pounds and comes fitted with A&F-branded Remo Ambassador heads.
