The Acoustic B100C bass combo in action

More Punch and Projection
The B100C features 100 watts of Acoustic power, arming you with plenty of power, punch and versatility for full stage performance. Get that classic Acoustic sound from the B100C’s 12” ferrite speaker, which provides optimal frequency response and sound projection, custom tuned for electric bass. A tilt-back cabinet feature directs your sound off the floor for better monitoring. This also makes volume leveling adjustments more accurate.

Complete EQ Control, FX Loop and More
With a complement of EQ controls, the B100C gives you plenty of room to dial in your specific tone. A 4-band EQ allows for boosting or cutting low, low-mid, high-mid and high frequencies. The advanced "Shape" voicing control—with user-selectable frequency—gives you compete mid-range tonal shaping to enhance signature sounds. This can emphasize slapping/popping playing techniques.

The B100C overdrive circuit provides an effect expanding, powerful sound for increased tonal variety, and its blend control allows for custom tone sculpting that covers a wide range of musical genres. The FX Loop allows the insertion of additional audio processing gear so you can use your own external effects chain for even more sound options. The Loop is placed after the B100C’s preamp and before the power amp.

Use the XLR Direct Out with Level Control to send your post-preamp sound directly to a PA for FOH amplification or for direct recording in the studio. You can choose to include the internal EQ settings or not. The B100C includes a convenient Ground Lift circuit that helps to isolate the amp from electrical ground noise, minimizing annoying and signal-killing electrical hum.

Plug your headphones into the 1/8” headphone output and the B100C automatically mutes the 12” speaker for private practice. Use the 1/8” AUX input for your external sound sources like your MP3 player for playing along or practicing with your favorite music.

Been waiting for this!

Times have changed for bassists. I had almost every Acoustic bass amp over the last 10 years from the 100 watt mini-stack to the B-800 with a 4-10 & 1-15 stack. All great amps. Now, with an excellent PA system with 18" subs, I only need an amp as a stage monitor. I wanted a lighter weight, tilt-back amp, without rear ports. Finally Acoustic has come out with one. Priced so very well compared to the Ampeg tilt-backs, which I've used for the past 2 years. At 37.5 lbs., I am very pleased so far after checking it out at home. Can't hardly wait use at this weekend's gigs.

completely damaged upon arrival

Was anxious for the amp to arrive but it was completely damaged. I don't understand why an item that weighs over 40 lbs would be put in a thin walled cardboard box with zero padding. There was no Styrofoam skeleton or padding of any kind. The box had been dropped very hard because the baffle inside the amp was rattling around. There was a huge hole torn in the side of the box and the case was dented in several areas. I simply don't understand why it would be shipped like this.

I bought this for my wife for Xmas. I have been playing bass for decades, so let's just say I KNOW gear. I looked at Ampeg, Fender, and this on a few trips to the music store. This amp beat them all. It's almost it doesn't matter what is dialed in on the EQ. It just sounds awesome!

  • Great amp for the price

Submitted as part of a sweepstakes

So after a 15 plus year hiatus from playing I bought this to get back in. Didn't want to spend much because I wasn't sure if I could even play again. Was hugely surprised by the sound of this amp. And by the fact that I retained my skills after all. Very happy with it.

Don't plug in headphones. I used the thing twice and it broke immediately after plugging headphones in. I can't imagine how it can be built to break so quickly. Guitar Center owns this brand by the way. Very frustrating. I just wanted to pick up bass guitar and now i feel foolish for not reading reviews online of this brand.

Can I get specific instructions to the UPS driver? My last order was simply left in front of the door and he didn't even ring the doorbell. If there is no car in the driveway, I expect the package to be placed inside my lanai.
