The Aguilar DB 751 975W Bass Amplifier Head is the upgraded successor to Aguilar's legendary DB 750—infusing the original's tube-driven tone with cutting-edge technology and delivering nearly 1,000W of pure power. Perfect for bassists who demand excellence, the DB 751's improved preamp provides active boost and cut controls for sculpting your tone.

975 Watts of Raw Power

Pumping out 975W at 2 ohms, 750W at 4 ohms, and 400W at 8 ohms, the DB 751 has the headroom and volume you need to play any venue. Its high-current design and premium components provide tight, articulate low end, rich mids and smooth highs at high volumes without distortion.

Shape Your Signature Sound

The DB 751's 3-band EQ offers bass, midrange, and treble controls with 12dB of cut and boost, enabling you to fine-tune your tone. New active boost and cut controls provide +/-15dB of additional tonal shaping. Roll off the highs, boost the low mids and dial in the perfect amount of tube drive and compression with the drive control. Save your settings to one of three footswitchable presets for instant recall during live performance.

Road-Ready and Built to Last

Like all Aguilar gear, the DB 751 is constructed from premium components and built to rigorous standards to handle the demands of touring. Its durable yet lightweight chassis protects the sensitive circuitry inside, and the amp's efficient, fanless design ensures silent operation. With speaker outputs, effects loop, tuner out and more, the DB 751 has all the connectivity you need whether recording in the studio or performing on stage.

I have DB751 amp head with db410 and db115 cabins. It's kind of pricy, but quality of sound, style, size and weight is just perfect. Strong and stable warm sound with deep bass tone, but you can adjust twitter on the back of db410 cab to produce sharp tone too. I got mine about 2 years ago and I couldn't find any better ones. Not even when I'm playing, I feel happy by just looking at it.:)

  • A Monster of an Amp!

The DB751 is an absolute monster of an amp. It's not the most versitile head on the market, but the sound it delivers is one heck of a sound! It's definately got that tube "wooliness" but is still very defined and articulate while making every note sound HUGE. While you can't cop a ton of different tones out, the EQ section is simple but very effective, a little goes a long way. Also, it doesn't matter how you play, fingerstyle, pick, slap, tap, etc. Whatever you put into the DB comes out sounding great through your speakers and the power is just ridiculous. Seriously, the volume this thing is capable of is incredible. It's a whole different feel than just about every other amp I've used. I haven't really cranked it to its full potential yet, but with the gain at 11 o'clock and the master at 8 o'clock, it shakes the house! As long as you're not after super modern "hifi" tones, this amp will not disappoint!

I love this amp, it's simple, but mega effective. It give excellent cutting highs, a nice full mids, and all the bottom end that the human body can take! a great buy, but NOT for amateurs, it will amplify your mistakes, but amplify all your great sound even more!

Well worth the price! Great sound and functionality. Use it for both live performances as well as recordings. The tone is absolutely amazing! Especially warm running my bass directly into the recording interface out of this unit. Have it paired up with an Agui DB410 and DB115. Rattles the paint off of any wall! Wouldn't trade it for the world!
