I have paired the the Aguilar Tone hammer 700 with the Aguilar SL410 cabinet and the result is amazing! I play Spector basses for twenty plus years now, mostly active, but some passive/active. It seems like this amp and cabinet were made for these bass guitars! I have been an SWR user for 12+ years , as well as a Hartke user. This Aguilar system takes it to an whole other level ! Even my band mates comment on how evenly it cuts through the mix! Great tone & presence without having to crank it up. I found about Aguilar through Suart Spector when I went to his Woodstock shop to pick up my Spector Coda deluxe five string passive/active bass he made for me. He was playing my bass through a Aguilar Tone hammer 350 and I could not believe the sound he was getting out of it. A real warm, full, clear sound , and on all parts of the neck. Now it helps that I had Aguilar pick ups installed in my bass, but even now when we play live shows, mostly local clubs, I have people asking me "wow, what did you change, your bass is really cutting through the live mix, but not overbearing. My drummer says, don't touch anything, leave the set up you have! ha,ha!

What exactly does "Open Box" denote? Is the amp in 100% factory new condition? Except opened box?

Open box means it was a returned item and does not have the factory warranty
