Awsome sticks

These sticks are well worth the price. They are the perfect stick for that hardcore rock drummer. they last forever so one pair will last you at least a year (Mine Have), they have a really good hard loud full sound and there isn't a rock stick much better. The Only downfall is that they are heavy, after one set of playing hard your arms are gonna feel really limp and jelloish. but it does make for an excelent work out stick for agility and quickness.

good sticks, but..

they are a bit more expensive than other sticks as most drummers know, but they are very durable and do last a long time. some drummers like the feel of them, but for me, they are a kinda heavy and my index fingers start to hurt and blister after a while, especially where the plastic meets the aluminum. they should make them more flush and subtle. i say, go with what you are comfortable with, i was stupid, i bought them to look cool and wasn't too happy with the results. i wanted to emulate Spug, but i realized he is phenomenal, and i will just stay mediocre, lol. its a hard style to play, but its great to listen to..so ill just stick to my grunge rock with playing plain ole' wooden sticks.

I have use Ahead drumsticks for year and this pair is the best fit for me and my style of playing. They are better when paired with Ahead drumsticks tape which helps me keep a firm grip on my sticks. The weight is nicely distributed, and I find these to be a little thicker and easier to work with.

i bought these sticks because a kid i knew had them and gave me good advice on them. they are awesome sticks for the first couple of months. they not only look stellar at shows, but they feel good even w/out the grip tape. the only thing is tightening and weight. its hard to tighten it, just to the extent to where you can still get it off. as far as weight goes, its light at the grip but the shaft is heavier because of the plastic. ive had to replace 1 time in 3-4 months.
