This is a good quality mini ratchet... However I think there is a big design flaw. The drum key and a Phillips screwdriver head only fit in the 'female' side of the ratchet. And they do not seat well or stay seated. When tuning and moving from lug to lug the drum key bit will fall out which is super frustrating when tuning a fully set up drum kit... The 1/4" drive side is interesting... Not sure what the intended use would be as I don't know of many drum kits that require sockets for the various maintenance needs but possibly it is useful for some drummers out there. In order to make this a really good drum key ratchet I purchased a 'finger ratchet' to use on the 1/4" drive side. It has a magnetic bit side so the drum key stays put. And the bonus with the finger ratchet is you can finger tighten to get a good consistent starting point to your drum tuning. Ahead should consider something like this as then this would be one of the best drum key ratchets... But I should not have had to buy an additional part to make this ratchet functional!
