I don't know why Fender still puts those crappy jacks on every Telecaster. I've had a number of Tele's and this is always the first thing I replace. They're solid and they allow you to use a 90 deg plug, which you usually can't do with a standard Tele. They're cheap, good quality, and worth every penny! Highly recommended.
