Alto

collapse expand iconDescription

Bring earth-shaking low end to your live shows and studio sessions with the Alto TS318S powered subwoofer, available exclusively at Guitar Center. This rugged 18" sub packs a whopping 2,000 watts of power and cutting-edge DSP for tight, accurate bass that will get audiences moving. With its redesigned, internally braced enclosure and durable splatter-spray finish, the TS318S is built to withstand the rigors of the road while always looking showroom new. Whether you're a mobile DJ, band or studio producer, the TS318S will make your mixes and tracks thump like never before.

Class-D Amp Delivers Thunderous Lows

At the heart of the TS318S is a high-efficiency 2,500-watt Class-D amplifier that drives its premium 18" subwoofer to deliver massive amounts of low frequency response with minimal distortion. A 3" voice coil allows the woofer to handle the amplifier's power with ease and helps it dig deep to reproduce the lowest bass notes.

Six DSP Modes for Perfect System Integration

The TS318S features XLR outputs with six built-in DSP modes to optimize its output for the companion full-range speakers in your system. Select modes include Live, DJ and Off. The sub's Phase switches provide additional tuning control so you can achieve perfect phase alignment and the tightest, punchiest bass.

Road-Ready Cabinet and Splatter Finish

The TS318S is housed in a specially designed front-ported MDF cabinet that's internally braced for maximum rigidity and power handling. An integrated 36 mm pole socket allows you to mount the included speaker pole and full-range speaker on top. A durable splatter-spray finish protects the cabinet from the dings and scratches of life on the road so your sub always looks and sounds its best.

Protection and Connectivity

The TS318S features electronic clip, thermal, and transducer overdrive protection to safeguard its components from damage. It provides two combo XLR/1/4" inputs and two balanced XLR outputs for simple connection to your mixer or other gear. With pro-level power, tuning and build quality, the Alto TS318S is a subwoofer you can depend on to bring the bass night after night.

Good speaker. Little heavy but would for sure buy it again.

Good sour if you need a clear hitting base. If you want the deep base it is there at your demand also. I am a cross over, power amp and 18'' sub man as I own 9 -8'' subs. Within the last year I have added 2 15'' powered sub and liked them so much I purchased an 18'' powered sub hear in the past couple of week. My plans are 2 purchase a second one after 1 month of testing. Alto brand. 5 stars. Would recommend to others. I own enough gear to set up concert style. I also do pro audio installs. If you'd needing good advice your looking attune correct comments.

I used two of these subwoofers, my drum rig. i play a Roland V Drum set live. I use two of these alto subs, along with two harbinger 4115s as my PA....just for the drums. And, this setup gets pushed to the max at times. And so far, they have done awesome.

Perfect for my small to medium gigs. You really feel the thump. Kind of on the heavy side but that's what keeps the low end low, right? Very reliable and easy to dial in so far in the couple dozen gigs I've used it on. Plus I now have a kick-a$$ stereo system for my garage!

  • I would buy it again

This sub sounds great, nice warm, deep bass, handles wall, solid sound. The DSP for matching tops is a great feature, matches perfectly with 15" and 10" as I own both, perfect frequency adjustment to match speaker. I would recommend this sub hands down.

This sub is a beast. Best bang for the buck on the market. I have used the TS1 series and Black series from Alto as well. Build quality is good and this sub really hits.
