The Alvarez LF710e folk-OM acoustic-electric guitar is a testament to Alvarez's dedication to crafting instruments that deliver exceptional quality and performance. A gorgeous addition to the premium Laureate Series, the LF710e benefits from Alvarez's most refined design philosophies and meticulous construction techniques. Boasting all-solid wood construction, hand-finished bracing and premium appointments, this elegant acoustic-electric delivers a robust, balanced tone that's perfect for a wide variety of playing styles. Its folk-OM body style offers a focused midrange, clear trebles and a defined bass response, making it well-suited for both strumming and fingerpicking. And fitted with innovative LR Baggs Hi-Fi electronics that excel on stage and in the studio, the LF710e is a top-tier choice for discerning musicians seeking excellence in both acoustic and amplified settings.

Premium Tonewoods for Superior Sound

The LF710e is crafted from only the finest hand-selected tonewoods to deliver a rich and complex voice characterized by warm overtones, deep resonance and exceptional clarity. The solid AAA Sitka spruce top offers a balanced tone and excellent projection. It's carefully seasoned and then treated with Alvarez's proprietary ATR (Acoustic Tone Resonator) process, an innovative vacuum-kilning technique that enhances the wood's natural resonance and responsiveness, resulting in a top that vibrates freely and projects sound with remarkable clarity. The East Indian rosewood back and sides add gorgeous depth and a touch of shimmer to the overall tone. This combination of premium tonewoods creates a versatile and inspiring sonic palette for players of all styles.

Hand-Finished Bracing for Maximum Resonance

The internal bracing architecture of the LF710e is meticulously crafted to optimize the guitar's responsiveness and maximize the transfer of vibrations across the soundboard. Alvarez's premium FS6 bracing system utilizes hand-selected quartersawn Sitka spruce braces that are carefully hand-sanded to produce a richer, more complex tone. The rosewood side braces are also hand-chosen to match the back and sides, underscoring an unparalleled commitment to quality and precision—even down to the smallest detail. This handcrafted approach to bracing provides a wonderfully expressive sound that beautifully captures every nuance of your performance, from delicately fingerpicked passages to rich and resonant chords.

Elegant Design With High-End Appointments

The Alvarez LF710e's elegant design is complemented by its premium appointments. The solid African ebony bridge, fingerboard and headstock overlay add a touch of sophistication and contribute to the guitar's overall tonal clarity, articulation and sustain. The silky-smooth fingerboard provides a comfortable and responsive playing surface, while the premium blue abalone inlays add a subtle yet luxurious visual touch. The Daybreak gloss finish—unique to the Laureate Series—allows the natural beauty of the tonewoods to shine through while adding a touch of vintage-inspired warmth. The Laureate Series also boasts Alvarez's thinnest finish yet, offering superior resonance while maintaining a rich and attractive sheen.

Stage-Ready With LR Baggs Hi-Fi Electronics

The LF710e is equipped with the advanced LR Baggs Hi-Fi electronics system, which beautifully preserves the guitar's natural acoustic tone, whether you're on stage or in the studio. Swapping out the traditional under-saddle pickups for an ultra-responsive bridge plate sensor, this innovative system captures the vibrations of the entire soundboard, resulting in a dynamic, articulate and full-bodied amplified sound that faithfully reproduces the nuances of the guitar's acoustic voice. Perfect for the gigging musician who demands consistent sound on the road, in the recording booth and at the practice space, the LF710e is an acoustic-electric you can count on in all situations.

This thing is worth it for the sale price of 899. Seems to be the same as a LF70e without a gig bag. I have a Martin GPC11, and this is more articulate and the sustain shimmers.

Just all around quality instrument for professional and amateur musicians! Great tone beautifully constructed instrument. I think that it would be indistinguishable from other instruments made in USA. I can easily see this as heirloom instrument aging like a fine wine. Time will tell!🎉🎸

This thing is great. It has plenty of low end and is quite vibrant. The guitar itself is beautiful! For the tone-woods used, the price is a steal!

Top Wood Grading: LF70E: Features a higher-grade AAAA Sitka spruce top, offering enhanced tonal complexity and responsiveness. LF710E: Comes with an AAA Sitka spruce top, which still provides excellent tone but is a grade below the LF70E. Finish Options: LF70E: Available in both Natural/Gloss and Sunset/Gloss finishes, providing aesthetic variety. LF710E: Offered exclusively in the Daybreak gloss finish, unique to this model. While both the LF710E and LF70E offer exceptional craftsmanship and sound quality, the LF70E stands out with its higher-grade top wood and additional finish options, catering to players seeking premium features.
