The Elation DP-DMX-20L DMX Dimmer Pack gets your power under control so you can get your groove on. 4-channel DMX dimmer pack can use standard DMX-512 protocol and can be changed to one channel, 2 channels, or 4 channels. LED display enables changes to the DMX settings without binary calculations. Sleek case design for ease of installation. Back panel rotates for mobile use. Zero crossing circuitry protects transformer loads when switching. Two 3-prong sockets per channel, XLR connection. 15 amps max (1800 watts) or 5 amps max per channel (600 watts).

    This is the second dimmer/switch I got from Guitar Center. I returned the first, a DP-415. Turns out nothing was wrong with the first one but the information in the descriptions and manual not clear for a newbie. Guitar Center was great on the customer service and actually upgraded me for the same price since the DP-415 was not in stock. I had a problem with LED lights plugged in to these dimmers/switches strobing or ghosting even without power applied. This was remedied by the addition of an LED dummy plug. Once these were inserted between LED light and switch pack this stopped. This pack will work as a switch for LED lights but not a dimmer. (Newbie lesson) The cans I bought work great. Very easy to program for someone new to all of this. Would have given 3-stars since the manual or description didn't address the LED issue. Cost me three weeks worth of aggravation trying to get it to work but American DJ and Guitar Center customer service were outstanding so I pushed to the 4 stars.
