The ADJ Stinger II takes all of the great features from the original version and adds stunning UV LEDs to its display. This high-power lighting effect is essentially three effects in one unit consisting of a moonflower, strobe and laser effect all in the same housing. What’s different with the Stinger II is the eight 3W UV LEDs that offer a new dimension of excitement for mobile DJs, bands, small clubs and bars, roller rinks and bowling centers with its room-filling razor sharp beams of light.


The UV LEDs combined with the HEX LED Moonflower and the red and green “Galaxian” style laser give entertains a lot of options for hours of entertainment. This fixture has 15 built-in color options, smooth steeper motors for a premium light show and a 4-button DMX function display.

    Mobile DJs, this is just a great effect for filling a dance floor with lights and movement, and with the remote diode and an iPhone you have flexibility at your fingertips. ADJ hit a home run! Portable Dance Club. Just got it home and looks great in the garage. Laser patterns are awesome and the uv effect is great. I can't wait to use this at my next DJ event!

    I'm not a DJ. Since I was a kid, I loved dance lights & the like. I just had to have one for my own home use! It's a 1 man show for me. 3 effects in one unit is pretty cool. In a dark room the UV LEDs are actually quite effective. The lasers are great with cool patterns that are razor sharp. I don't have any experience with DMX. I just leave mine set to sound active on Show 0 (which is random) and let it rip! It does come with an IR transmitter for your iPhone that lets you have some control of the light thru ADJ's iPhone app. (Only works on iPhones though) The app is OK. I was not overly impressed with its abilities, but it was free so can't complain too much. You probably get the most control by using DMX. Considering what all this one light does, I think it's a good value. This will be in my man cave mostly, but I would definitely bring it with me to energize a party. I guess I have a light fetish, and this thing takes the cake for what I'll use it for.

    Hi, I just bought the Stinger II for the parties at my school. However, is it safe to use it on the dance floor because of the laser and UV lights? It's supposed to be a party light for dance floors, but the manual says to not point it on dance floor. Thanks. B.
