When you plug in auxiliary jack, you can play along with music, and music comes out heavy on bass so it is easier to hear bass in auxiliary. Only con is that you can't control auxiliary with knobs. Can't control volume or bass or treble in auxiliary jack
I would not buy this product again

I used this Ampeg RB-115 at home for bass practice. I rarely turned the volume past 50% and only played a couple times a week. I purchased this amp from GC in February of this year and I'm already having to get a repair ticket from Ampeg. It sounds like the speaker is going out. Crackling and on and off sound. At first I thought it was my pedals..but after connecting straight to the amp from my 5 string it definitely got problems...and that is a shame too because this amp is almost $600 and sounded good while it lasted. Just hope I can get them to fix it or I'm not paying for it !

I downsized from a 410 cab and 300 watt head a while ago, and got this to replace it. I like it - it reminds me of an Ampeg BA115AV I used to have. The RB-115 sounds good; it's also light and loud.
Good product, GC tried to pass floor model off as new.
