The first cabinet was an extension for my Ampeg BA210V2 2x10 Bass Combo. It really improved the sound. Then I got an Ampeg tube amp, and decided to run 2 of these cabinets. The sound is warm & full, surprising from such a small cabinet.
Love this cabinet!!

I have 2 of these cabinets stacked vertically with a GK mb fusion 500 head. Cabs sound Awsome! Tight! Punchy!! Sold my Ampeg pro neo 210 to get these and don't regret it.

I bought for practice session only. Maybe good for a small quiet venue.

Purchased this as an extension cab for the Ampeg ba210v2 combo...this small cab has plenty of volume and punch and the sealed design blends nicely with the ported combo..overall very impressive for a lightweight cab..classic Ampeg tone, good tight low end and smooth mids...havent gigged with it yet, but dont anticipate any issues..
Awesome little cab

A great little cabinet, and puts out plenty of sound for a small-ish gig. Nice and light-weight. I've paired two of these, and they are easy to transport and sound great. To my ear, they are far more musical sounding than the high-end 4x10s (SWR, GK, Eden, Markbass etc). And they are great for recording, I run my old Ampeg B-12 head through one, and it gives a great richness to blend with the direct signal. Highly recommended.

If I order this Ampeg cabinet and there is an issue with it ( not talking about buyers remorse-rather it has a mechanical or cosmetic issue with it) can I return it to my Warwick Guitar Center for a refund? Thank you.

Can I run this as an extension from a Fender Rumble 500 watt 210 combo? Not sure if the wattage works out correctly.
Yes you can. The wattage will work out very correctly. The Fender puts out 500 watts into 4 ohms. Running the 2 10s works out to a 8 ohm load so your getting 250 watts as it runs out of the box. Connect another 8 ohm load (like the Ampeq) and ohmage is now 4. You cut your resistance in half so you double you wattage. Remember, this is a low as it can go.submitted6 years ago
