I needed line level boost beyond what Yamaha Aventage A870 provides. This unit provides that boost. Does not 'rumble'. Good sound stage.

This is a great preamp for an old school turntable connected to a new receiver. It's easy to connect and the input trim control is very nice

I'm glad I waited for it to be back in stock, I didn't mind waiting for it. I'm using it in place of the preamp in an older receiver. The reason that I wanted this one is the Input Cap button to better match it to the cartridge. The only thing I don't like is the very bright LED power light but I'm seeing that a lot now and it can be fixed with a little bit of gaff tape.

I think the biggest drawback is not having a power switch. I'm using this pre to boost signal to a mixer to go to active monitors and it would be nice to just switch on and off in between uses instead of having to plug in the power supply every time.
