    This is a great product for reducing the volume of my fiddle. I like to get up early in the morning to practice and not once have I woke anyone while doing so. I really like that the metal is covered in rubber. I do not know if this helps improve dampening qualities or not but it looks and feels like a well made product. I highly recommend this for anyone who doesn't want to bother people with the sometimes not so pleasant sounds of an aspiring fiddler!
