The Arturia AudioFuse X8 OUT is an essential expansion tool for engineers and producers seeking to unlock the full potential of their ADAT-equipped audio interfaces. By adding eight additional high-quality analog outputs, this compact half-rack unit seamlessly integrates into your existing setup, eliminating the cost and clutter of a full interface. Whether tracking a band, mixing a film score or setting up an immersive surround installation, the AudioFuse X8 OUT provides the connectivity you need to capture every nuance.

Pristine 24-Bit/96kHz Audio Quality

Within the rugged yet portable chassis of the X8 OUT, premium Cirrus Logic digital-to-analog converters translate your mixes with exceptional clarity and dynamic range. Each of the eight output channels supports resolutions up to 24-bit/96kHz, ensuring your recordings maintain pristine fidelity throughout the signal chain. From delicate vocal overdubs to thunderous kick drums, every element will translate with stunning realism when passed through the X8 OUT's transparent conversion stage.

Streamlined Integration, Flexible Mounting

With its intuitive front panel controls and clear VU metering, the X8 OUT makes it simple to incorporate additional analog outputs into your workflow. Assign channels, dial in levels and monitor signals at a glance without navigating complex menus. The removable rack ears enable both desktop and rack-mounted operation, while the svelte half-rack form factor conserves precious space in your studio or live rig. For expanded setups, the included assembly kit allows you to neatly rack two X8 OUT units side-by-side.

Unlock Immersive Dolby Atmos Surround

When paired with the powerful AudioFuse 16Rig interface, the X8 OUT provides the final outputs needed to construct a full 9.1.6 Dolby Atmos surround system for immersive audio production and mixing. This future-proof configuration delivers an uncompromised listening experience, allowing you to fully realize your creative vision in three-dimensional space. From cinematic sound design to cutting-edge music production, Atmos immerses your audience like never before.

Effortless Expansion for ADAT-Equipped Interfaces

By transmitting eight channels over a single ADAT lightpipe connection, the X8 OUT sidesteps the limitations of analog cabling while maintaining premium audio quality. This efficient architecture makes it easy to incorporate additional outputs into your existing ADAT-compatible rig. With the X8 OUT, you can cost-effectively expand your analog output capabilities without overhauling your core setup.

Hello! I have the Audiofuse studio and I'm trying to mix a film in 5.1 surround which is very new to me. Would this product allow me to mix the film via pro tools? Or should I just consider something like the focusrite 18i20 4th gen? Thank you!

Here’s how the options compare and what you’ll want to think about: Using the AudioFuse Studio + AudioFuse X8 ADAT Expander Pros: Seamless integration: Since both are Arturia products, they'll work well together. ADAT expansion: Adds 8 more line outputs over optical (ADAT), giving you enough discrete outs for 5.1 (L, C, R, Ls, Rs, LFE) plus extra. Maintains your existing setup: Keeps you in the AudioFuse ecosystem. Requirements: You'll need to set your session’s output paths in Pro Tools to route to the AudioFuse Studio + X8 channels. ADAT runs at 48kHz max if you're using all 8 channels. At 96kHz, you'll only get 4 channels via S/MUX. Switching to the Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 (4th Gen) Pros: All 10 line outputs are available directly on the back panel (no need for ADAT expansion). USB-C connection is rock solid and plays nicely with Pro Tools. Focusrite Control software is very flexible for routing and monitoring. Cons: It’s a whole new interface—extra cost, and you’d be switching ecosystems. Might not be quite as high-end in preamp or conversion quality as your AudioFuse Studio, depending on your preferences. If you're looking for simplicity with direct analog outs, or if you’re running into ADAT limitations (especially if working at higher sample rates), the Focusrite 18i20 is an excellent all-in-one alternative.
