Audio-Technica ATH-M30x Professional Monitor Headphones

Description
The Audio-Technica ATH-M30x closed-back professional studio monitor headphones deliver pristine sonic accuracy for critical listening. Featuring 40mm neodymium magnet drivers and a frequency range of 15 Hz to 22 kHz, the ATH-M30x headphones provide a balanced, articulate sound across the entire audio spectrum. Their circumaural earpads and closed-back earcup design work together to block out ambient noise for superior isolation, allowing you to focus on the details.
Neodymium Magnet Drivers Reproduce Every Nuance
The ATH-M30x headphones utilize high-performance 40mm neodymium magnet drivers that are specifically tuned to provide highly accurate audio reproduction. Their wide 15 Hz to 22 kHz frequency range ensures you'll hear every sonic detail, from the deepest lows to the most transient highs. The result is a balanced, natural sound ideal for critical studio monitoring or field recording.
Closed-Back Design Delivers Maximum Isolation
With their circumaural earpads and closed-back earcup design, the ATH-M30x headphones effectively block out external noise so you can focus on the audio coming through the headphones. Their snug yet comfortable fit provides a tight seal, passively isolating you from ambient room sounds. For studio applications, this means minimized bleed into live microphones. For field recording, it allows clearer capture of the intended audio source without contamination from environmental noise.
Collapsible Design Adds Portability
While the ATH-M30x headphones are designed primarily for studio use, their collapsible frame allows them to fold flat for transport and storage. This makes them a viable option for remote recording where portability is a necessity. The earcups swivel for single-ear monitoring, and a detachable 1.2 m (3.9') straight cable is provided, with a 3.5 mm (1/8") mini-plug connector. A 1/4" adapter is also included for studio equipment.

Music to my ears!
I use them to practice guitar with my sound equipment. I like it loud and the neighbors don't.. They sound as good as my amps and can handle the distortion as well as the clean. Clean clear highs, mids, lows, and sound good just listening to music. Built good, adjustable at all angles, light and very comfortable. Nice isolation from any outside noise. They are a good set of headphones with a nice carrying bag. I would buy them again.

Had to return. Horrible frequency response
Used these to make/mix my beats. Was very disappointed because everyone talks online about them being great value. In my experience, you get what you pay for. Extremely curved frequency response in the mid highs and poor bass. Claps and hats sound horrible because of this. Was hoping to be happy but I had to return them. Will have to go a little more expensive to be happy.
