Great sound. They just start to feel uncomfortable after about 30 minutes of use... other than that great set of headphones.

I use them to relax when playing digital piano. They are so comfortable to wear, and enable me to play for an extended time with very smooth sound and no discomfort.

Earbuds don't work for me, I like the sound and portability. Nice size.
You like the M50x? This is like the mature, older brother...

I was skeptical of the M60x. You couldn't convince me that there was anything better than the M50x, period. I decided to put these on a trial. Straight to the point: these DO sound better than the M50x. No, they're not punchier than them and no they don't have that booming, thumping bass. But if you're looking for an overall, cleaner, and smoother sound signature? The M60x take the fake easily. What I did notice right off the bat, was that the M60x don't have those harsh or overwhelming highs that my cherished M50x's possessed. They're buttery smooth and I would always brace for the painful highs in every song I tested (multiple genres). The bass definitely cuts through and still has plenty of body and low end for sure... if you're concerned about that. These sound great all around. I PROMISE you won't be disappointed.

I'm thinking of using these to replace my Shure "in ears" for monitor in live performances. How long is the cable from the headphone to the plug that plugs in the monitor controller? TIA
