This mic is great as far as how well it sounds in general. My band bought 4 of these mics 3 months ago but we sent back all but 1. When we first used them we found out that the handling noise was horrible. So if you are just going to leave it on a stand you will be fine....but if you hold it in your hand, prepare for the train to come ripping through your P.A.!
okay quality, lots of hiss

when i bought this mic about 5 months ago i was convinced i was getting a good buy. i saw reviews on it and the price was right, but after using this a lot over time, it gets really annoying how much hiss and static it gives. unnoticeable with louder music but on acoustic songs its very noticeable.

I'm very happy with my Audio-Technica Microphone. It has an awesome clear and crisp sound. I lead and backup for my church choir and I was so happy that even with the other 5 singers, you could still hear me nice and clear. I would recommend this microphone to everyone who sings lead and or backup. If you're looking for a real dynamic microphone, this is the one. You will not regret investing your money to get one.

My friend in my band has this micrphone and it is amazing. I feel in love with this mic, i have also used a Shure but i pefer this auditechnica becasue the technology is better and you get it for the same price as the Shure Smg. This mic also has less feedback the my frineds Shure Pg!! If you are looking for a mic and want something a the most 100$ this is you best choice!
