collapse expand iconDescription

The Audix D-Clamp Percussion Mount Mic Clip eliminates drummers' concerns about microphone positioning. With a low profile and low mass, the D-Clamp clips to the lugs of most percussion instruments and holds your microphone in a rock-solid grip. Simple to use and easy to position. Players and sound engineers will appreciate the D-Clamp's flexible neck and road-rugged composite material. Holds 5/8" mic clips.

I purchased this clip to use with my Audix D6 bass drum mic for mounting to my bass drum hoop. This mount has the clamp for a bass drum hoop, so I assumed it would work. Nope. The goose neck cannot hold the weight of the D6 mic and it won't be able to support most kick drum mics. Incredibly disappointed.

Best Conga mic holder I have purchased to date. Better than the ones that permanently attach since it makes it easier to get the Congas in and out of their cases...

The single picture doesn't do the product justice. The most important part of buying the product is the clamp and we can only see one side. The vital part of this product is knowing its clamping mechanism limitations,: how small, how large the bite. So much like were all craving to see a picture of the back side of the moon, we yearn to see the back side of this mic clamp. Post a pic and notify me!
