I used it for spot treating my little recording room. It's 12' x 16' and there was just enough in this kit to treat behind the monitors, a few on one wall and a few on the ceiling. I had applied the old moving blanket treatment to one long wall and thick carpet to the back short wall, so this 36 piece kit was what I needed to finish with damping down echo and flutters. As soon as I had the ceiling done the weather turned hot (No A/C in the room) and the last 3 or 4 I stuck up fell down overnight. I am positive it had to do with my being too tired (that's my excuse.) to hold the correct setting pressure on the 2 sided tape when working overhead. I'll try some spray adhesive like 3M. The effect was large and instantaneous. Half of what I was hearing before was sound from the back of the monitors boxes bouncing off the walls. Now I am hearing the speakers themselves.

I originally ordered another acoustic foam package that was backordered, and ended up switching my order to this...it was cheaper, and offered more acoustic treatment than I expected. Using a checkered placement (not putting them right up against each other, but more in a checkerboard pattern) I was able to give solid acoustic treatment to a pretty large studio space. (can't remember precise measurements, but it's around 15' X 15') If you do some minor research online about placement, pad the right spots, and add a couple of decorative tapestries, you can achieve a lot of result for a relatively small price with this package. Definitely recommended.

I bought these to help make my live room sound better in my recording studio. I had foam before but still had some reflections and flutter join on in it. These where very easy to hang. I used picture nail to secure them to the wall instead of glueing since it is in my townhouse that we rent. The room instantly sounded much better after attaching these panels to the wall. I may go back and get another set to help my other rooms. I will say these panels will give your studio the professional look that everyone is looking for in a studio.

can these be used in an outdoor pavilion? Room is medium-large and used for patio events. 2 ends and 1 side walled in, but the 2nd side is open facing a pool.....ceiling covering entire pavilion. Rain can and does blow in occasionally.
