I sprayed a full coating on both the wall and the foam, stuck both surfaces together for the suggested time. Within 2 months, the foam is already coming unstuck.

Foam falling off the walls after one week

Used as directed. One week later my Auralex 2'x2' light foam panels are dropping off the walls, leaving messy orange residue behind. The spray contact cement from hardware store at half the price that I used on ceiling tiles still holding fine. Don't waste your money.
I would buy this product again

Easy to apply and can has 3 spray settings for desired application coverage. Used with Aurelex 12" X 12" X 2" foam. Applied to plywood base and has excellent hold.

I purchased the Auralex project studio kit which came with 2 tubes of TubeTak. The TubeTak leaves so much mess and is so difficult to use (my caulking gun bent out of shape due to the hardening of the glue. I then did the same as the user above and went to a local arts and crafts store to get a spray adhesive - nope, wouldnt hold AT ALL. So finally, went to GC and bought the can of spray. It's so easy, so clean, so fast. I definitely recommend this product to anyone putting up studio foam. I wish I wouldve bought it from the get. Now I have a bunch of mess to clean up when I move out of my apartment.

I was originall hesistant to buying this because of the price so I purchased some off-brand spray adhesive from an arts and crafts store. The foam held for about 15 minutes. After putting all this up and having it all fall back down I decided to drive to Guitar Center and purchase this. I'm glad I did. It holds the foam very well. The foam was put on the walls about 3 weeks ago and has yet to fall. Much better than any other type of spray adhesive.
