The BASSBOSS SV9 is a studio-reference quality monitor you can also take with you outside the studio. With a rugged finish, handle, grille and a substantial amount of power, this compact and portable system is perfect for those who need premium quality and impressive output, places and situations where you need to cover distanced crowds without large-sized, heavy and obtrusive cabinets.

The compact, high-fidelity and high-output SV9 takes over where the popular BASSBOSS SV8 single 8” powered monitor left off, continuing the BASSBOSS tradition of delivering remarkable bass performance and outstanding sound quality. The SV9's single 9" loudspeaker is comparable to much larger loudspeakers in response and output thanks to innovative design and components. Its birch plywood enclosure is strong enough to withstand the rigors of the road, but light enough to take with you and without needing a burly roadie.

The SV9's 9” woofer features a large voice coil and a rubber surround for high power handling and smooth response. Its amplifier offers abundant headroom, and with the proprietary BASSBOSS processing, you can be confident you'll get exceptional sound quality and reliability. The combination of cabinet construction, design and premium components make for a rich, smooth, sound for any occasion.
  
The SV9 is suitable for use as a studio monitor. However, if you have a small event, you'll be just as satisfied with its performance. With an extremely flat frequency response with a neutral character for critical monitoring duties, and its 1,200W of power delivers remarkably high output. With an enclosure that is just 18"x10"x15" and a mere 26 pounds, smaller events can be covered with ease.

    My wife and I wandered into Guitar Center because she a pair of QSC K10.2 that shipped with faulty amps. Our original goal was to test the K12.2 to see if she can live with the extra weight while the K10.2 went to the repair shop. However, during our A/B testing of the K10.2 vs K12.2 at Guitar Center's show room, there was a brand new set of Bassboss SV9s in the far corner. Despite it being out of our initial budget, the idea of a 26 lbs speaker seemed really appealing. So, out of curiosity, we threw the SV9's into the 3 way shoot-out and boy did it really justify the price difference. As much as we *thought* we loved the QSC sound, the SV9 simply made its competitors sound like they wrapped in a fabric. The clarity was simply unmatched. On top of that, it was the first time my wife was ever excited for new speakers. Suddenly, the dream of having "power and clarity" was not tied to the vision of back-breaking boxes. We were so sold on these speakers, that we also purchased 2 of the Bassboss BB15s to go with it.
