I'd like to see some improvements

I got this switcher used so for the price I am happy with it. However, if I were buying a new one I would probably try to find one that takes a power adapter. It's annoying to have my whole board on power and then have to unplug this each time I am done. Note that this is an A/B only, you cannot run both outputs at the same time. I use it to select between my clean and reverb channels on my Fender Deluxe Reverb RI and it works fine for that. You can also use it to select between two inputs. This switch doesn't feel as robust as most Boss products, but time will tell.

too noisy for use

I have used Boss products for many years. I purchased this to switch between amps. It is incredibly noisy with very significant background noise on both channels. When switching to a "dirty" channel feedback is insane even with volume reduced. I still believe Boss make great products but this is not something I can recommend or use. Upon removing this A/B pedal from the system all was quiet and noise free. I will have to make set lists that allow manual switching between amps until I find another solution.

Ordered this to route input signals on my pedal board. I didn't realize it lacked a power input until it was in my hands.

Nice to be able to switch between guitars with different setups or between different guitar rigs. Works well for teaching as well with only one amp available. Works great, strong, and good design. What can you say, it's a BOSS!

I use this A/B switch to connect to guitars to the same rig, (different tunings for different songs) and so far it's been a great addition. Tough and reliable.
