BOSS CE-5 Chorus Ensemble Effects Pedal

Description
The BOSS CE-5 Chorus Ensemble pedal delivers a full spectrum of chorus tones ideal for any guitarist looking to expand their sound. This compact yet powerful unit provides adjustable Rate and Depth controls to produce subtle chorusing or intense modulation. High and low-cut filters allow you to shape your tone, creating stunning effects ranging from glistening 12-string-like shimmers to lush, ambient washes of sound. With stereo outputs, you can utilize the CE-5 with two amps for an exceptionally wide and dimensional tone.
Achieve Iconic Sounds With Simple Controls
Designed with an intuitive layout, the CE-5 makes it easy to dial in lush chorus effects with just a few knobs. The Rate control adjusts the speed of the effect, allowing you to create slow, undulating waves of sound or rapid pulses for vibrato effects. The Depth knob controls the intensity of the chorus, from subtle enhancements to your tone to dramatic, seasick pitch warbles. High and low-cut filter knobs allow you to shape the effected frequencies to your liking, perfect for guitarists wanting to retain low end punch or cut through a mix with shimmering highs.
Go Stereo for Spacious and Dimensional Tones
With stereo outputs, the CE-5 can be used in conjunction with two guitar amps or a stereo effects loop to create an exceptionally wide and full sound. When used in stereo, the CE-5 generates two distinct chorus effects, one for the left channel and one for the right. The resulting sound is rich, lush and spatially expansive—ideal for both ambient textures and pop-infused rhythms. For mono operation, simply use the CE-5's mono output jack.
Roadworthy and Built to Last
BOSS is renowned for the durability and reliability of their products, and the CE-5 is no exception. Its solid metal chassis and footswitches are built to withstand the rigors of travel and stage use. Dependable and built to last, the CE-5 delivers iconic BOSS quality and performance that you can count on, gig after gig and session after session. Powered by a 9V battery or optional power supply (sold separately), the CE-5 is a roadworthy pedal you can rely on.

It's a keeper
This pedal is a gem! It really shimmers with my Strat and can even mimic a rotary speaker like organ sound with chordal comping. Very versatile with the added benefits of high and low eq and effect mix. In short, this pedal sounds beautiful. Just what I was looking for. Price is right and it runs on 9 volts so I can put in in my chain without having t lug another power supply. (are you listening MXR?)

Way Too Subtle
I've owned a Boss CH-1 forever, and I love the lush and shimmery chorus tones that I get out of it, so I decided that it was time to try the Boss CE-5. Right off the bat, I was wondering if the pedal was even on. I started with everything at noon, and there literally wasn't even a hint of tonal difference. After maxing out every single knob, including both EQ knobs, I finally got a small tease of chorus added to my signal, but if I didn't know that the pedal was on, I might've not even known that I had chorus in the mix. Pretty sad display for a chorus pedal. I highly recommend the Boss CH-1 though!!

Was wanting a chorus for my bass. The filter knobs work great for that. If you set the rate low and depth high. You get iconic flanging drone sounds. It's a boss pedal so has all of the great features all boss pedals have. I expect it to be around longer than I will. 10/10
Fantastically subtle but beautiful Stereo Chorus

This pedal is fantastic. I run this into a viscous vibe and together I get all the chorus-like modulation warble I'd ever need. Love that this pedal is subtle and mono in stereo out. Sets up stereo at the end of my pedal chain nicely.
