The Boss Katana Cabinet 212 is designed to complement the innovative Katana amp series. This rugged 2x12 guitar speaker cabinet pumps out 150W of power through premium 12" speakers, giving guitarists a wide range of pro-level tones for any playing situation.

Premium 12" Speakers Provide Authentic Tone

The Katana Cabinet 212 is loaded with two highly responsive 12" speakers that were specially designed for the Katana series. These speakers have been tuned to capture the natural tone and feel of tube amplifiers, with tight, punchy lows, smooth mids and crisp highs. The large cabinet size also provides plenty of resonance and projection, allowing guitarists to achieve a full, rich tone at any volume level.

High Power Handling for Any Venue

With 150W of power handling, the Katana Cabinet 212 can keep up with the output needs of any guitarist. Whether you're playing an intimate club gig or rocking an outdoor festival stage, this cabinet provides plenty of volume and headroom to cut through the mix. The rugged poplar plywood construction and durable vinyl covering also ensure that it will withstand the demands of frequent live performances and touring.

Flexible and Portable Design

Despite its high power and performance, the Katana Cabinet 212 has a surprisingly compact and portable design. At just over 50 lb., this cabinet can be easily transported using the integrated side handles and casters. The slanted baffle also provides better projection at lower volumes, allowing guitarists to achieve a full sound even at lower power settings. With its lightweight, portable and stage-ready design, the Katana Cabinet 212 is ideal for guitarists on the go.

I've purchased this cabinet twice this year via the online store as new items, and elected having both purchases picked up at the same store, as new. Both purchases/ items are not new. Both did not come with the additional rubber feet Boss's website shows the cabinet comes with, new.

I was running a Joyo Zombie into my Katana 100W Combo using the Amp speaker out form the Joyo to the speaker input on the Katana. This gave me the power of the Katana but no effects. I bought this cab out of fear of ruining either the Katana or Joyo the way it was set up. First, make sure you are using an actual speaker cable and NOT an instrument cable. I plugged in and was blown away by the sound, and I know as speakers break in, they just get better. I was playing to some songs and it was amazing how real, and full the sound was. I am very happy with this purchase!

  • Great at a great price!

Had been trying to complete my Katana setup (I have the 100w head) for a while but those cabs can be pricey. Finally caught this display model and it was a steal! Works just as you would expect. Enough words have been about the quality of the Katana series.

  • Quality sound and versatile.

I use this cab for practice and recording. Sounds great. My favorite feature is the variable wattage design(running a Micro Dark through it currently & plan to upgrade.) It is a bit heavy, but durable.

I’m very sorry. Your question is not clear. A pedal and speaker cabinet have nothing to do with each other. It requires an amp in between

No, it will work any amp. It's just a spkr cab - 8 ohms. You will need an amp however.

Can this cabinet be added/plugged into the back of a Katana Artist amp, as it has extra speaker inputs on the Artist mkiii amp. Can the waza speaker stay hooked up with the addition of the 212 cabinet at the same time, so you would end up using 3 speakers at the same time?
Thanks
