MD-2, MEGA AWESOME!!!
ok ok. people getting ready to buy this, or have thought about it, i know you're probably getting a lot of mixed reviews. but you got to see and hear this pedal to truly appreciate it. the dual distortion/gain boost knobs make your sound perfect. from a thrash distortion to a nice bluesy overdrive if you want. and the tone/bottom knobs allow you to perfectly shape your sound, and then your amp EQ can add more to that. it's true you might want a noise suppressor, but that sound, you know that "pssssss" noise, thats just the awesome trying to escape its little orange cage. i play hard rock/inudstrial/rockabilly, and this pedal is perfect. buy it if you want to be really cool.

I wouldn't buy this again if I had a gun to my head
Worked fine for 2 hours and then the battery died. You're gonna spend a lot of time changing the battery, unless you wanna order a desperate cord from them that costs 30 bucks. YOU CANNOT USE ANY CORD IT HAS TO BE A BOSS BRAND CORD, when this piece of garbage does work it sounds mediocre

For my tastes. I enjoy using it sparingly. It adds a nice contrast to my other BOSS dirt pedals. The trick is to remember that the EQ controls are very powerful. A tiny turn of either dial. Will greatly effect the tone. I recommend caution in using the gain controls too. Having them both around noon. Will yield the best effect.

This pedal was made with low frequencies in mind; it sounds great when used with low tuned guitars or a bass guitar. Needs a mid boost beforehand to sound good at standard tuning.

The overall sound was very disappointing. It had much less bass than I expected.
Very happy with this pedal.

This is the best sounding distortion in a pedal that I have ever used. I have had several others inculding, other boss distortion pedals but this one tops them all. Very easy to dial in the tone and thickness you want.
