The 57CBJD_L3/S3 is the Fender American Standard Jazz Bass (J Bass) replacement pickup set with a "long" for the bridge and a "short" for the neck. The set is highly respected by musicians and luthiers alike for its bright tone, enhanced treble tone. They feature a dual in-line humcanceling coil design.

The Classic Bass Series bass pickups are passive designs featuring an extended and more resonant frequency range. They have far more "air" and definition at the top without sacrificing lows and low mids. They are cast in epoxy to remove unwanted feedback and microphonics.

    I've upgraded the pickups in one of my Ibanez 6-string bass with Bartolini Soap bar pickups and upgraded the preamps in my Cort 5-string and Ibanez 6-string basses with Bartolini preamps. The difference in the tone was DRAMATIC!!!! I expect the same to happen when I have these pickups installed in my Sire Marcus Miller V7 5 bass!!!

  • Should've replaced pickups with these Bartolinis long ago.

    These pickups are of superior quality at all settings. The notes are full,clear,and taut. I am especially happy with their sound in midrange settings. I get none of the hollowness that I was always getting,out of my stock (Fender) pickups. I am now getting full bodied,punchy notes,so the frustration is gone. Excellent product !
