Optimized for bass, the BEQ700 lets you accentuate the warmth, clarity and punch exactly how you want it.
Sculpt Your Sound With 7 Focused Frequency Bands
The BEQ700 gives you 7 bands of strategic frequency control to sculpt the perfect bass sound. The low end 50Hz band adds thump and rumble, while 120Hz fills out the soft bass tones. The 400Hz mid band punches up the core hardness and 800Hz lets you dial in an aggressive edge. The 500Hz band shapes the overall warmth and clarity. At the top end, 4.5kHz helps cut through the mix, while 10kHz accentuates the upper harmonics. With so much tonal control at your fingertips, you can make your bass sit perfectly in any mix.
Noise-Free Switching and Indicators For Clean Operation
The BEQ700 features a silent switching circuit so you can activate the EQ without unwanted noise or popping. Handy LEDs indicate when the effect is engaged and show battery levels, giving you noise and hassle-free operation on stage or in the studio. Just step on the switch and shape your tone, without any unwanted artifacts.
Dial In Your Signature Bass Tone
If you want to make your bass cut through any mix or find the perfect sound for any room, the BEQ700 is essential. I use this on my Roland electronic drum kit. When we rehearse or play out, I run through the PA along with the vocals. I was having a hard time getting the drums to come across in the mix. The expensive solution; buy a newer PA. That isn't an option, so I co-worker, musician suggested the a bass EQ pedal. I have some experience with the Behringer pedals so I decided to try this. Had it delivered and hooked it up at our next rehearsal. It completely changed the output and clarity of my drum sound! I couldn't more happy with this little yellow EQ box. I gave it four stars only because the difficulty of opening up the battery compartment beneath the actual pedal. Next I'll buy a power adapter so no more dealing with the battery compartment.

My 31 band EQ on my bass head totally quit on me at a gig a month back and was in search of another. I ran across the regular Behringer EQ pedal and eventual found the BEQ 700. I ordered it and tried it out at a recent gig and church service and I was very impressed!!!!!! I'm still going to get my 31 band but I will definitely keep this pedal in use and also for situations where it just causes for something simple but gives you what you need. Overall, I would buy it again and very happy I found this.

It's definitely a cheap pedal (it's made of plastic,) but it works like it should. It makes a lot of high frequency white noise when it is on, but I guess I can live with that. The only real big thing is that I can't find the battery compartment, so I have to plug the pedal into a power supply, because I don't have a pedalboard.
Effective EQ Pedal

This is a pretty good eq pedal. I've usually stuck with the idea that cheap pedals aren't as good and lack quality control, but this pedal may be the one to change my mind. The range of sounds you can achieve with this pedal is fantastic and allows one bass to cover many music genres easily. My only two small complaints would be that the access to the battery compartment can be tricky, as you need to push two ends in for it to come undone. But I don't usually use batteries for any pedals, so it's not really a problem. My other complaint is that there is not a notch on the slider that you can feel when it is set at zero like on many other eq's, so you just have to eyeball it, but again that's not a huge issue. It is plastic, so it'll probably break with heavy usage, but if you're not someone who stomps on pedals hard, or sees this as a pedal that you turn on at the beginning and leave it on, I definitely recommend it.
