    The Behringer BU200 Premium Cardioid Condenser USB Microphone is a plug-and-play USB microphone, meaning: Yes, you can plug it directly into your computer (Mac or Windows) via USB. Your computer should automatically recognize it as an input device without needing special drivers. But "plug and play" doesn't mean it will automatically start playing sound out loud like a speaker. Here's what happens when you plug it in: The mic appears as an input device in your system sound settings. You can select it in: A DAW like Audacity, Pro Tools, GarageBand, etc. Communication apps like Zoom, Discord, Skype, etc. Or even just use it in your system's basic Voice Recorder app. So while it’s technically plug-and-play, you still need some kind of app to monitor, record, or use the microphone signal—it won’t do anything just by plugging it in.
