Description
The Behringer DS2800 distribution splitter offers flexible signal routing for a variety of applications. With the DS2800's dual mode operation, you can send two input signals to four zones or a single signal to up to eight outputs. The 19" rackmountable unit is an ideal choice for recording studios, venues, restaurants, retail stores and more.
Dual Mode Operation
In a recording studio, the DS2800's 2-in/4-out mode makes it easy to switch between loudspeaker and headphone systems. For commercial installations, running separate zones lets you tailor levels to different areas. A front panel switch selects the operating mode, with LEDs indicating the current setting. Send two inputs to four zones or a single source to eight outputs for versatile signal distribution.
Ultralow Noise Op-Amps Keep Things Pristine
To maintain optimal audio quality, the DS2800 features state-of-the-art, ultralow noise op-amps. Gold-plated XLR connectors also provide exceptional signal integrity for both the inputs and outputs. Keep your audio signal path transparent and noise-free with the DS2800.
Individual Output Controls Let You Dial It In
Each of the eight outputs has its own level control knob and five-segment LED meter, enabling you to easily set and monitor volume for every zone. Know at a glance if signal is present and dial in the perfect level without distortion. The DS2800 makes system monitoring effortless.
Link Outputs Allow System Expansion
In addition to the main inputs, the DS2800 provides XLR link outputs to connect additional units when more outputs are needed. Build a large, cascaded system that can grow over time to meet evolving needs.

I use a mixer with powered mains and monitors. The issue I had was that all 6 of us sing so we each have our own monitor. Our mixer board has one 1/4" monitor output and when I tried to chain all the monitors together it was a horrible humming / squawking mess. Then I tried to use the left main output for mains and the right for the monitors. That was a little better solution but still not acceptable. With this device we are able to avoid chaining the monitors and now have no humming and much better control.
