My husband and I purchased these bass speakers for our sound system, which is now all Behringer. We love it ! It is perfect for all the venues we perform at and looks great and sounds great as well ! It is a Superior product and the best thing of all, reasonably priced.

I'm updating the speakers in my mobile DJ rig (replacing JBL EON 1500's) and wanted to compliment a pair of Eurolive B212A with some chest-thumping low end from a single compact subwoofer. Based on the price point, I tried the VQ1500D. I tested the setup in my home, not at an actual event. It sounded great at low volumes and would be fine for small intimate rooms where you only need to cover the dance floor and allow folks to talk at tables away from the music. However, when I would try to push it to the level necessary for a larger venue, the limiter would kick in and the bass response would drop off considerably. Unfortunately, that 500w amp just can't move that 15" woofer effectively for a larger room (i.e: a large banquet hall or outdoors). I'll be returning this speaker as it doesn't meet all my needs. I've already ordered the Eurolive B1500HP sub hoping the 2200 watts will bring better results at higher volumes. Bottom line: great for smaller venues/low volumes. Not enough power for large venues/high volumes.
