Behringer EUROLIVE VS1220F 600W 12" Passive Floor Monitor

Description
The Behringer EUROLIVE VS1220F passive wedge monitor speaker packs powerful, balanced sound into a convenient, portable package. With its 12" woofer and dual electro-dynamic high-frequency drivers, the VS1220F delivers strong lows, clear mids and smooth, shimmering highs—perfect for monitoring your mix. Available at an affordable price, this durable Behringer VS1220F floor monitor brings you years of great monitoring for both rehearsals and live shows.
Robust Lows With a Powerful Woofer
The EUROLIVE VS1220F floor monitor employs a heavy-duty 12" low-frequency woofer to reproduce powerful, defined bass tones and crisp midrange clarity. The oversized woofer cone provides impressive speaker excursion for excellent transient response, capturing the punch and impact of kicks, toms and bass lines. You'll hear strong, clear low end as you perform, giving you a balanced mix to work with on stage.
Crisp, Smooth Highs With Dual Drivers
This Behringer EUROLIVE VS1220F monitor wedge utilizes proprietary dual electro-dynamic high-frequency drivers for shimmering treble and articulate mids. The dual drivers provide a combined 150 watts of handling power, letting you hear every cymbal crash, guitar strum and vocal detail with pristine accuracy. Dial in just the right amount of crystalline highs and mids to complement the robust lows from the 12" woofer.
Convenient Passive Design
As a passive monitor speaker, the EUROLIVE VS1220F requires an external amplifier to handle its 600 watts of power capacity. This allows you convenient flexibility in pairing it with your preferred amp setup. The monitor includes both 1/4" input and output jacks for quick integration into your existing rig. Whether you need an expandable floor monitor for rehearsals or a durable wedge for club gigs, the Behringer EUROLIVE VS1220F has you covered.

You get what you pay for...
I was amazed at how fast they were shipped to my front door. I ordered them Saturday and they were here Tuesday afternoon! Awesome! BUT... you get what you pay for. The highs leave a little to be desired and the lows are not as "fat" as I would have liked. I opted to buy inexpensive and I got exactly what I paid for. I guess that's fair though. All in all, they're ok for the money but I would recommend saving you cash and buying a higher end product.

Perfect for church monitors

I ordered a pair of these for our church praise and worship team. They complained that the front facing PA speaker systems we had didn't help them in hearing their voice when singing. After setting them up for the first time, the praise and worship team liked them and how clear they sounded. Now they have the monitor they need so they can sing in harmony during our church services and events. For their size I think they would do well with the right amount of amplification for band gigs and maybe even DJing. But for the purpose I bought them for, they get the job done well.

Will the Behringer VS1220F work well and sound decent even at low volume levels? I want to use it for personal practice as well as for live sound reinforcement.
