The Behringer EUROPOWER PMP1680S powered mixer packs serious power and flexibility into a compact, easy-to-use package. Ideal for bands, DJs and AV rental companies, this 10-channel mixer features a robust 1,600W output, professional mic preamps and onboard effects—everything you need for stellar live sound.

Powerful 1,600W Output Drives Massive Sound

Don't let its lightweight design fool you—the PMP1680S cranks out up to 1,600W of power for massive volume through PA speakers or monitors. Utilizing Class-D amplifier technology, it provides 800W per channel in stereo mode or a whopping 1,600W bridged into a single mono output. This high-efficiency design reduces heat and weight without compromising output or sound quality. Crank up the EUROPOWER PMP1680S and fill the room with pristine audio.

Eight Built-in Mic Preamps Capture Vocals and Instruments

With eight XLR mic inputs, the EUROPOWER PMP1680S provides flexible connectivity for mics, direct boxes and other sound sources. The high-quality preamps deliver enough gain for condenser mics while keeping self-noise impressively low—your vocals will come through loud and clear. Clip LEDs indicate overload, helping you optimize gain staging. Give your singers, MCs, acoustic guitars and other onstage sound sources the clarity and punch they deserve.

Shape Your Sound With Onboard 24-bit Digital FX

An integrated 24-bit digital effects processor puts a massive palette of FX at your fingertips, including reverbs, delays, chorus, flange and more. Dial in the perfect amount of reverb for vocals or guitar solos or add some slapback delay to fatten up keyboards and percussion. You get 100 presets plus control over parameters like Time, Depth and Level. Additionally, FX can be applied to channels, subgroups and mains. Take your sound to the next level right inside the EUROPOWER PMP1680S.

Feedback Detection Keeps Howling at Bay

Nothing wrecks a performance faster than out-of-control feedback. With Feedback Detection, the EUROPOWER PMP1680S makes it easy to identify and eliminate feedback frequencies. Just press the FBQ button and LEDs on the 7-band EQ will reveal the offenders. Cut those frequencies and you're back in business. FBQ means one less thing to worry about during critical performances.

Replaced my CS-800 and 701R mixer

I got old.. I needed something that did not break my back. After MUCH research I gave the 1680s a try. So far I am more than happy. Less than 22lbs! 1600 watts (more like 400-500RMS per channel old style watts). This thing has a GREAT sound...rich and full, actually unbelievable for it's size. I would have given it 5 stars except for the effects (except for a reverb or two). They are totally worthless...no usable echo...you can't adjust any effects except for the depth. The "behringer speaker function" acts like an old style "loudness" button. So far after a few trio, rock and roll gigs, this thing is great!

I am on my third unit and I haven't did a show with one

Behringer should spend less time on effects and more time on quality control I can understand one unit being bad it is after all electrical and things can happen but I am working on my third unit and I have not been able to do one show. The first one I took it out of the box played with the effects for about a half hour with nothing connected to it, it popped twice and smoke came out of the back. The second one would not even fire up right out of the box. Guitar Center is great about taking care of problems but I think Behringer should take some responisablity for the poor workmanship of this unit

Used for audio support for small and large affairs at the University level. Enough inputs for mic and line sources. Just wish it had a bag.

As a Singer my main focus is on how this unit presents my voice. I use instrumental tracks and I LOVE THE SOUND!!!!! Planning on buying one more as a back up especially at the price. My 1st one was about 10 yrs old before I bought a Europower 2000. I did not like that one. I bought a new 1680 about 6 yrs ago. I Will Continue to Buy this model until they don't make it anymore!

    • I am very impressed!

I sing for living for the last 26 years. I was very very septical about buying Behringer. Didn't believe in the brand because of its reputation of cheaply made products and I have bought a few mixers in the last years and returned them all to go back to my old Yorkville mixer. But a professional musician, a friend of mine, owns many mixers and he told me that his Behringer mixer was his new discovery and I had to buy that. It took me a while to sink in the idea of buying Behringer, but I am so happy I did. I loooove the sound. Good base, flexibility for different setups. It worth for me to take the time to share my thought here. Have a great day and keep smiling!

I use this as a combo head to play acoustic guitar and sing w two singers and for Karaoke. I paired it with some peavey 15 pa speakers. It does pretty good. It lacks a little low end and a low output, but it fills a karaoke bar well. It does real well with voice and guitar, and I love the pan feature for multiple singers. Outdoors it is a little thin but far reaching! Would make a good on stage mixer w output to main amp and internal amp driving monitors with custom outputs each (for multiple singers)

    • Behringer electronics are worth it.

The dual effects are nice. Solid power and lightweight. This replaced a 12 yr old Behringer that was rained on at a gig (which is still used as a rehearsal amp). Very satisfied with Behringer electronics and effects. Pushes a pair of 12's and a 4/10 sub cabinet with ease.
