The Behringer EUROPOWER PMP550M is a versatile 5-channel 500W powered mixer that packs tremendous functionality into a lightweight chassis. 7-Band Feedback Detection EQ
The EUROPOWER PMP550M allows extensive tonal shaping with its 7-band graphic EQ, giving you control over the main mix sound. The EQ also incorporates Behringer's clever FBQ Feedback Detection System, which uses LEDs to pinpoint exactly which frequency band is feeding back so you can apply targeted EQ cuts to tame resonances quickly. Whether you need to boost the vocals, add sizzle to cymbals or cut rumble, the 7-band EQ gives you the tools to dial in your perfect mix.
Plug in Mics, Instruments or External Audio
The EUROPOWER PMP550M offers flexible connectivity for any gig. You get five XLR mic inputs complete with phantom power, gain control and integrated compression to accommodate vocals and acoustic instruments cleanly. For plugging in keyboards, electronic drums, direct boxes and more, there are two 1/4" line inputs as well. Plus, when you want to play backing tracks or music from an external device, simply connect to the 1/8" AUX input and you're ready for a full-featured show.

Compact, affordable PA head

I use this in rehearsal and mobile events. 500 watts is ample to cover a small club with proper speakers. There is no monitor line out, so you have to be resourceful and creative to hear the sound on stage. Time will tell if the PA head has legs, but it seems well built and I expect it to last.

This product has no manual. Only a quick start guide. Says I could go on web site and get a full manual. Dose not exist.
Just purchased this for our church

Bought this for our church. replaced a 30-year-old SUNN SR4100 amp which was worn out. Is used mainly for the pulpit microphone; gives clear and crisp amplification with no feedback. Full sound output not terrific but meets the need we have. (There could be a mismatch between the unit and our speakers (8 ohm paired together) so the problem may lie there, not with the Behringer.
Fantastic little power mixer!

Purchased the Euro power mixer to replace a bigger and heavier power mixer, and was more than pleasantly surprised at its power, sound versatility. It easily drives a pair of Mackie C300's and a pair of JBL's, and weighs a lot less than my current power mixer.. In fact, it's just a 3rd of the size! Perfect for home , rehearsal and small to medium size venue application. Highly recommended.

This mixer delivers a good amount of power in a compact, easy to carry package. Good for someone who performs in small to medium sized venues and who doesn't want to hassle with overly complicated controls. One shortcoming noted by others is that it includes no recording or line out ports. But for the price and quality, it is an unbeatable value.

I was wonder how this unit might perform with a pair of Yamaha A12 speakers. I'd just be using it for practice in the basement - acoustic guitar and vocals . Any opinions?
It would be an excellent combination
