Beringer 450fx
I am using this amp for keyboard & voice mixing. It does the job well. I have a Yahama PSRGX 76 keyboard and it works great. I do not use the special effects built into the amp because, I have them on the keyboard. The 5 band equalizer gives exelent sound shaping and makes the vocals sound great. I think this would also make a great guitar amp because of the special effects that are built into the amp.

Do not buy the Ultratone K450FX, hisses screams and pops
The Behringer K450FX I got used from Guitar Center in La Mesa California was great for about 10 minutes of keyboard playing, then it made horrifically loud electronic noises, painfully loud pops and hisses......so shocking I couldn't find the power switch fast enough to turn it off. I reconnected the cables, turned the volume down to barely audible and tested it for another few minutes until it happened again. I bought new cords and used with a guitar, CD player, headphones, and a Bass, and every time with great reliability it began the horrifically loud and painful noises. I understand many other owners are having the same issue. I think the longest time it has worked without screaming and making my ears hurt is maybe thirty minutes. Very disappointing and I would not recommend anyone consider this amplifier for purchase. Stay Away / Do Not Buy the Behringer K450FX amp!!!!!!!

As a primary gigging keyboard amp this could work in a small band, but for solo work such as piano or synth the sound is inadequate. I've used it in small nightclubs and find it tubby sounding and lacking in high end clarity for strings. As a personal monitor, it works fine.

Our piano recitals venue don't have their own pianos. Renting acoustic pianos are costly. I have a digital piano but was never satisfied with the sound. This keyboard amplifier made a huge difference. So much closer to the natural piano tones I love.

Affordable & portable little amp

Lightweight, portable and affordable little amplifier. With 3 channels & the EQ to help shape your sound, for the price, I believe this product is well worth it. The XLR input is a good feature as well. I'm used to playing through 200w amps, so to me, this is comparable to having a stage monitor at your feet. I was not too impressed with the tones I got from this amp, as it seemed to lack a bit in the mid & high ranges of the EQ, making the sound slightly muddy. I may have to work with that a bit to try to bring some richness to the mid range tone. Another factor contributing to this might be the lack of a tweeter speaker, as many keyboard amps do have. The FX are a nice option for a vocal mic & with this amp, you can adjust how much of the effect you want applied to each channel. Bottom line is this is a good, quality amp with many options, although not the best sounding, is still very good for the price.
Barely used it for 30 mins. Already grounded.
