collapse expand iconDescription

The Behringer Ultratone KXD15 keyboard amp delivers the versatility and power you need for an outstanding live performance. With its 600 ultraclean watts of bi-amplified digital output through separately powered drivers, the KXD15 produces exceptional resolution to bring out the best in your keyboard playing. The amp is loaded with tone-shaping tools like the 4-channel stereo mixer, 7-band graphic EQ and professional effects from the renowned Klark Teknik audio company.

Shape Your Sound With the 7-Band Graphic EQ

Sculpt your ideal keyboard tone with the KXD15's 7-band graphic EQ, offering 12dB of boost or cut per frequency band. The EQ spectrum covers the entire range from sub-bass through to super-treble frequencies, giving you fine control over the critical midrange that defines your sound. Dial in the perfect amount of low-end thump or add some sizzle up top to suit your music.

Klark Teknik Effects add Studio-Grade Polish

The KXD15's built-in Klark Teknik effects processor provides 100 presets covering essential effects like reverb, chorus, flanger, delay and more. With renowned British audio engineering from Klark Teknik, these effects add a professional studio sheen to your live sound. You'll have lush reverbs, psychedelic modulation effects and crisp digital delays right at your fingertips.

Mix In Mics, Instruments and More

The 4-channel stereo mixer gives you flexibility to connect keyboards, microphones, backing tracks and other sound sources. Use the XLR input to plug in your vocal mic, route stereo keyboards to Channels 1 and 2 and bring in MP3 backing tracks over the RCA inputs. The mixer's FX Send/Return loop also lets you incorporate external effects units. Shape a pro-caliber mix all through one convenient keyboard amp.

Lightweight and Road-Ready

The KXD15 is remarkably portable for a robust 600W keyboard amp with a beefy 15" woofer. The amp's lightweight Class-D amplification eliminates heavy transformers for easy transport from gig to gig. Just grab the integrated top handle and take this versatile keyboard amp to rehearsals, shows and anywhere your music takes you.

I had my kxd15 almost a month now and have been told by others it has a great sound, I had to test beside my kc550 to realize how good it really sounded. I bought it as a lighter weight alternative to the kc but it may end up being its replacement (time will tell). The kc has been a workhouse for 10 yrs. Never a problem. Had to work with the Kxd Eq. to get the sound I wanted, the sliders give more control over the sound. The kxd is listed at 600w but seems to be about the same volume level as the kc but a cleaner sound. I play keys, Yamaha Moxf / Motif, and normally run a stereo setup so wt. is very important! I dropped 25lbs with the kxd, saved $$ compared to other options, has a cleaner sound, added wheels and so far am very satisfied! Will update in a few months. Charles H.

I was looking for a replacement for my aging Roland 300 series. Play in weekend cover bands and mostly use the amp as a monitor and send the mix to the board. Tried power monitors, keyboard amps and small PA setups. For me, the keyboard amp is the best compromise among options. Simple to set up and easy to transport. Compared the Roland 550 and the Behringer KXD15. Behringer is less expensive, smaller and lighter. Both offer stereo link to connect 2 units together. Both have line out and subwoofer line. SIde by side, the Behringer sounder cleaner to me, and handled the low bass notes with less distortion. Have gigged out with it. Slighter larger footprint than my old KW300, but sounded better and clearer on stage. Really like the multi-band EQ. My only gripe is the watt rating. No way this is a 600 watt amp. Overall - a good value. Easy to use. 4 channels. Sounds good. Stereo link and sub-woofer connections offer a lot of flexibility for sound and use.

I needed a good amp for small gigs so I bought this unit because it said it had 600 watts of power which was moor than my mackie's 300 w system. however when I played through it the sound quality and volume level was less than half that of my mackie's and the so called effects are a real JOKE. they sound very amateuristic & very poor quality. unless you are a beginner and don't know the difference this unit fails in all areas of workmanship except the housing & it's general appearance which is fairly nice. Save your money it's not worth it as far as I am concerned. my next move is a mackie thump 15 A for $100.00 less than this unit and it has a true 1300 watts of power.....

So I had my eye on this amp for a while. I've done some research on it and found little about it. So I just decided to take a chance on the amp based on the previous generation kx3000 I've played through. Played a gig and was not disappointed with the clarity or low end it produced. I love this amp to death. Anyone looking for a great sounding keyboard amp needs to seriously take a gander at this one. 5 stars plus for me on this item!!!!!! Great Job Behringer!!!

I have owned 2 Roland KC 550's and 2 KC 350's... I returned them for 2 of these Behringer's. Best choice. These amps are much lighter and more powerful! Happy with these amps, was not happy with the Rolands. And these amps cost less money than the others.

Is the signal blocked to the speaker when headphones are plugged into the headphone jack?
I am hoping to have no sound through the speaker when plugged into the headphone jack.

What is your return policy if this isn't what I expected?
Can I have it shipped to your Redmond WA 98052 location for pick up?

Is this amp compatible with an active bass? Primarily looking to use it as an amp for a midi mallet controller, but also wondering if it would tolerate bass for band rehearsals, or would that blow the speaker?
