Description
The Behringer VD400 analog delay effects pedal lets you step on true analog delay with up to 300ms for crafting those vintage guitar sounds. With the VD400's intuitive controls like Repeat Rate, Intensity and Echo, you can shape delay from a deep space whisper all the way to an intergalactic battle cry. The bright blue LED tells you when the effect is active and battery power provides portability for guitarists on the go. While digital technology evolves, nothing quite captures the warmth and character of old-school analog delay like the VD400. Its dedicated dials evoke the spirit of legendary guitarists, letting you emulate their delay-drenched tones. At its affordable price, the VD400 makes boutique-quality analog delay accessible for every guitarist.
Sculpt a Myriad of Delay Effects
The dedicated knobs on the Behringer VD400 give you deep control over your delay sound. The Repeat Rate sets the time between echoes, ranging from a quick slapback to a slower 300ms delay. The Intensity dial lets you set the number of repeats from a single echo to infinite feedback. The Tone knob shapes the EQ of the delay, from dark to bright. And the Echo control adjusts the delay level compared to your dry signal. With this intuitive interface, you can quickly craft subtle ambience or spaced-out effects without diving into complex menus.
Harness the Warmth of Analog Bucket Brigade Circuitry
Inside the VD400 is old-school analog bucket brigade circuitry, using MN3005 chips to produce that authentic vintage tone. The analog signal path imparts a warmth and nuance you just can't find in digital delays. From the subtle saturation and natural decay of the echoes, to the organic way the repeats interact with your playing dynamics, the VD400 brings back that retro delay vibe. Whether you want tape-style warmth or the gritty character of tube amp delay, the VD400 delivers organic vintage tone in a stompbox.
Vintage Styling in a Compact Enclosure
The VD400 brings back the look and feel of pedals from decades past, housed in a rugged metal enclosure. Its vintage white finish looks great on any board, evoking legendary delay units of the past. Despite its throwback vibe, the pedal is built to modern standards for reliable performance. With its compact size taking up minimal space, the VD400 is ideal for guitarists and bassists alike. Dial in the echoes of yesteryear or create new atmospheric soundscapes with the Behringer Vintage Delay VD400.

Great delay pedal, great price!
Great little pedal, appropriate amount of customization available to shape your sound. There can be too much feedback if you fully turn the Intensity/ Echo knobs all the way up but that's obvious. I've read multiple reviews stating that this pedal drains the battery fast but so far I've had no problems in that department. Amazing little pedal at an amazing price, pick one up!

Not bad
I wanted a delay for my acoustic guitar rig, but didn't want to spend a lot. I already have a Digitech RP155 in my electric guitar setup, but wanted the older analog sound. The VD400 fit my needs. It has a warmer, more natural sound then digital models. My acoustic rig is as follows, Taylor acoustic, Washburn Stack in a box, Deltalab stereo chorus, Behringer VD400, and a Digitech JamMan Solo looper. If you are looking for the vintage sound of analog, and don't want to spend much, this will work for you. My playing now is in my home studio and not on stage, so I can't remark on it's sound in a live venue.

What a beautiful sounding pedal with a great vintage delay effect only for a fraction of the price of so called high end pedals. Yes it is made of plastic, but so are many parts in your car, your office etc... it will be just fine, stop being a gear snob and buy this beautiful pedal! #sweepstakes

Bought this to add a bit of delay to guitar sound. Easy to use. Excellent pedal for hobby, novice player. A professional would probably want something more sophisticated. It does what I want it to do. Well constructed considering price.
Simple, cheap, does the job

Probably the most basic delay around. No fancy features, but what it does, it does well. Sounds the same as delay pedals that cost 3x as much. Made of plastic, so you could conceivably smash it to bits, but for the price, you couldn't ask for more.
