I have an altos ts215 that I need to mount sideways high up on the wall. Will this bracket fit it? I also have 2 altos ts208s I need to sideways mount also
The Behringer WB215 bracket is specifically designed for the EUROLIVE B215XL, and while it's a robust bracket, it's not guaranteed to be compatible with the Alto TS215 or TS208 out of the box — especially if you're mounting the speakers sideways. Here are key compatibility and safety considerations: 1. Mounting Point Compatibility The Alto TS215 and TS208 have standard pole mounts on the bottom and M6 or M8 threaded mounting points on the sides and/or back (depending on the model). The Behringer WB215 bracket uses M8 mounting holes designed to line up with the B215XL. The spacing and placement of the holes may not match the Alto models. Check your TS215 and TS208 for threaded mounting holes on the side or rear and measure the spacing. Compare that to the WB215 bracket. If they don’t line up, modification would be required (not recommended for safety reasons). 2. Sideways Mounting (Horizontal Orientation) Most PA speakers aren’t designed to be mounted sideways unless explicitly stated by the manufacturer. You’ll need a bracket that supports horizontal orientation and safely handles the speaker’s center of gravity. Mounting sideways can affect: Weight distribution (especially with a plastic enclosure like the TS215) Tweeter dispersion, which is tuned for vertical orientation. The Behringer WB215 is not a reliable fit for your Alto TS215 or TS208, especially for sideways mounting.
