Would be great except for very noisy monitoring section

This is a very affordable way to get nice-sounding recordings into a machine with an available USB port. These mixers/audio interfaces under $100 generally suffer in their monitoring section - often needing supplemental amplification for most recording musicians to monitor themselves while recording. However, this unit has enough volume and does not suffer from that. The problem with this unit is that there is constant hiss (sounds like tape hiss from the old days if the Dolby was turned off) present in the monitoring circuit. It is only audible in the monitoring circuit and doesn't actually record the hiss. The recordings sound very good and this is a great option if monitoring isn't needed. However, due to the tape-hiss like noise in the monitoring section, I don't use it for it's intended purpose. However, it is nice and compact and affordable enough as this can be found used for under $40. Rather than return it, I moved it to my office and use it as an interface for a microphone only for teleconferencing (Zoom Meets etc). It serves that function well. The problems I have with these affordable interfaces can range from inadequate monitoring volume (not a problem with this unit), noisy monitoring circuit (big problem for this unit), and inflexible buss options (not relevant now this unit is for speech only). As an audio interface for speech only, it's awesome.
Great product, it is perfect for what I need right now!

I needed something I could use between my microphone and my computer. This product fills that void and gives me the ability to change the sounds to fit what I believe is excellent.
I highly recommend this mixer!

I use this mixer for a LPFM station. The controls have a smooth feel to them and the audio is very clean with no noise. It's performance compares to those costing much more. If you need a simple mixer with only 3-4 channels, this is the one to get.
Great product for the price.

I replaced my Alesis MultiMix 4 with this powerful little mixer for podcast recording. It's amazingly quiet, and allows me to split channel record between the mic and a stereo mix. That's a lot of versatility in such a tiny package. And did I mention it's quiet? The Alesis was horribly hissy . . . everything I recorded had to be post processed to get rid of the noise provided compliments of the mixer. The Behringer is SO quiet that I haven't had to do any noise reduction at all in the post production, and my recording levels are terrific. Don't waste your time with Alesis, buy Behringer. Even their cheapest product is leaps and bounds better.

I have had this product for less than three weeks and it has already worn out. It crackles every time I use it. I thought it was my headphones, but then I tried another pair, then hooked it up to speakers. The crackles were still evident. Before this interface blew out, I was having issues with recording guitar. The interface links its own output with the output from the computer, so when I was recording guitar with effects, I couldn't get rid of the clean, untouched sound that came along with my processed sounds. My advice: don't go with any version of the behringer xenyx.
