The Behringer XENYX QX2442USB mixer brings together exceptional sound quality and versatile recording capabilities. With its 24 channels, 17 faders and 10 XLR microphone preamps, the QX2442USB provides extensive control over your mix. It allows you to shape lush tones with its musical British-style EQs and transparent compressors on each channel. You can add professional effects like reverb and delay through the built-in Klark Teknik FX processor, with 32 presets and adjustable parameters to dial in your sound. For wireless freedom on stage, the XENYX QX2442USB is compatible with Behringer's ULTRALINK ULM series wireless system (sold separately).
Record Directly to Your Computer Over USB
In addition to its robust analog mixing capabilities, the XENYX QX2442USB enables pristine audio recording thanks to its integrated USB interface. Simply connect it to your Mac or Windows PC using a single USB cable to capture all of your mixer's inputs and outputs. The XENYX QX2442USB comes bundled with powerful DAW software like Tracktion for multi-track recording, editing and mixing. This gives you a professional recording studio right on your computer, allowing you to easily compose, record and share your music.
Musical EQ and Compression
Each of the XENYX QX2442USB's channels is equipped with premium-quality British-style EQ for warm, musical tone shaping. The 3-band EQs give you precise control over the lows, mids and highs. Optical compressors on every channel provide transparent dynamic control to smooth out peaks and add sustain. You can sculpt sounds subtly or dramatically to achieve the exact tone you want before sending it to the main mix or recording outputs.
Add Studio-Grade Effects
The built-in Klark Teknik FX processor provides a wide palette of digital effects to give your mix extraordinary depth and dimension. Choose from 100 world-class presets, including reverbs, choruses, flangers, delays and more. The dual-parameter design lets you adjust two effect properties at once for advanced customization. The mixer's FX send knobs allow you to add just the right amount of effects to each channel.
Designed for Both Stage and Studio Use
With its robust construction, extensive connectivity and flexible routing options, the XENYX QX2442USB is at home both on stage and in the recording studio. It gives you the tools you need to craft a pro-level live mix, record pristine audio and take your performances to the next level.

Incredible value and flexibility

I moved up to this 4-bus version from the 2-bus variant because I wanted more routing flexibility and more preamp channels. I've been happy with that decision going on 5 years. I use this primarily as the live mixer in my studio/rehearsal space, sending bass, guitar, piano, v-drums, and vocals through it and into a QSC PA system and a Logic-based recording rig via Scarlett 18i20 Gen3. With 8 direct out and 4 stereo busses, this board allows me to mix in the room and send whatever I want to the interface from that live mix. Performance-wise it's quiet, has all the EQ and FX you'd expect from something of this size and complexity, and everything operates with a satisfying heft. Behringer can be hit or miss with QC, but this one was well assembled. I added-on the ULM202USB Ultralink 2-Person Digital Wireless System with low expectations, but have been pleasantly surprised at how well they work and good they sound. You plug one USB receiver into the top of Channel 1 and both Channel 1 and 2 become wireless mic channels for the two included mics. For practices and live scratch tracking, they're perfectly capable mics that have never dropped out, sound very good, and easily have a range of at least the 46 feet in my practice area. It's a nice optional feature that I've found useful. Overall, I'm very happy with this mixer.

Use it for my home recording which is great. Direct outs go right into my DAW which is what sold me on this. I have had Behringer products before and they have always worked well for me. Thanks Guitar Center for the great price and fast shipping. Look forward to getting back into your store once Covid-19 is gone.
