Didn't even last 6 months. Guess I'll have to go back to the 70-year old bow it replaced. Broke at pressure point.

Its build quality isn't perfect but for the price it is a good bow, its gets the job done. I would recommend a higher quality better bow but if you need a cheap bow this is a good cheapo. I bought it because I broke my other bow and needed a replacement till the pernambuco bow I want is in stock again

  • I would not buy this product again

It's ok. Not spectacular. I would call this eh, or average. I got what I payed for.

I (being in my later 20's) picked up a student quality violin that came with a bow to try something new. I got this as a back up bow but it has reduced my scratchy noise that I thought was my lack of ability but was happy to see that with a lower price bow I got an unexpected upgrade. The wood (stick) is strong and accepts tension very well The hair is nice and thicker than my beginner bow. It makes the sound of my violin come out a bit rounder and full (again over my student bow)
