Great little practice amp

I use this on my truck (truck driver) and at home when the family is sleeping and my tube amps would be too loud. It sounds great, has more built in effects than I can use. For the price you can't go wrong.
For the price an Amazing Amp.

I got this amp to keep at work and it exceeded my expectations. My other two amps which are a Monoprice 15 watt tube amp and a Positive Grid modeling amp. I love the other two amps but the Blackstar actually sounds better, especially for heavy rock like Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden.
Just what I needed.

I was in the midst of looking at smaller amps when I ran across this one on sale at MF. I wanted to take time to go listen to a few but the sale price was too good to pass up. I had just parted with an old Roland Jazz Chorus a few months ago and was thinking I would never be able to replace that good old stereo chorus of the JC-120 but the Blackstar amps caught my eye. I probably would have gone after one of the larger versions but jumped at this one on sale. It has more than met my expectations. First and foremost, the stereo makes it sound HUGE. Lush reverbs and chorus fills a small room. It is plenty loud on its own for practice or jamming with a buddy and with the Architecture software amp modeling and line out I can easily use it with my PA system. It would be nice if had Bluetooth, a mobile app and the ability to change presets via midi but at the price that's a little much to ask for. It does have a USB interface and the software is pretty cool. The clean guitar and FXs can be routed to your computer separately via USB with a separate return which opens a lot of possibilities for recording, etc. All in all, a lot of sweet sound and good value in small package.
