I loved this amp the last time i bought it in store. It was almost destroyed. An input jack was cracked and perforated up. The box was damaged badly. No power cable. I don't even know how tje amp sounds because I can't turn it on. Very disappointed and not buying here again.
Love the sound, quality and finish. it has many features

An absolutely lovely sounding amp if you don't need a lot of volume. Playing around with the gain on the Warm Clean, and Bright Clean channels yields a very nice tube like sound to my ears. If you use a lot of crunch or overdrive there are better amps out there. That being said I am able to get a nice bit of break up that works just fine for most rock. The 40 watt power rating is deceptive as it is really 2 20 watt amps in stereo. To me the amp in real world power is no where near 40 watts in terms of loudness.
Lots of cool features and outstanding stereo sound

I bought this as I wanted to have stereo effects for recording. this amp does that well, and not many amps feature stereo output. I use headphones a lot and the stereo effects make you think your playing at Madison Square Garden. The twin 6.5 in speakers seem to be plenty for playing in the office so power is not a weakness IMHO. I wont speak to comparisons to other brands, they all have their strengths. This Blackstar ID Core 40w V3 does take a fair amount of "tuning in your tone". If you just crank a dial, you can end up with some squawky stuff. But with just the right delay / echo with some distortion, the sound is amazing with wide stereo. Does make you love playing again.

How/Does/Will/Can this go into a mixer? What cords and inputs would be used? Also on a scale of 1-10 how loud do you think it can get?
