Great violin!
Daughter was begging for a violin for Christmas. Bought this one online and have been amazed how quickly she has taught herself to play. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of sound she is getting having never had lessons. Love the case it came in that makes it safe to take places without fear of getting damaged.

Not a quality product out of the box.
The tuning pegs this violin comes with do not work. They are slippery plastic. Haven't been able to get a single high string to hold tuning. Haven't been able to keep a single string from snapping. The tuning pegs the violin shop recommended to fix this will cost $80. I should note that GC did a good job each step of the way. They replaced it twice for me with my pro coverage before I could figure out what ruined this violin. TL;DR -- Don't buy this unless you want to pay twice the price for it to even be possible to tune.

My product is currently being sent back as I just got it today and I got it out of the box and the one tuner turned but didn't stay and when I tried to turn it the string popped out of the bottom. I have seen better toys.
I'd not buy it

I got this for my daughter as a starter. This violin requires constant tuning and is disappointing. It also took us much longer than anticipated to actually get this. I don't recommend it.

Invite me to the violin. My daughter is wanting to learn and I'm not sure what the numbers 1/4 and 4/4 mean. Could someone please help.
The numbers are the 'sizes' of the violin with 4/4 being full size. and 1/4 being the smallest. Please give us a call to better help you out – 877-687-5403submitted5 years ago

Is the quality of this instrument good? I was asking because I'm a person they if you're going to buy something, but something that's worth it. So I was wondering if the material that the violin is made out of, good or "perfect". I'm just starting to learn violin so I was going to but this one. Is the violin made out of wood or plastic? (I hope it's not a dumb question). I hope you understand, I'm kind of picky with this stuff. Thank you

Howcome the bow is so plasticy you cant even play any notes at all
Are you using Rosin? It is important to use rosin to create friction between the bow and the violin string(s).
