Godin

collapse expand iconDescription

The Godin Multiac Grand Concert SA nylon-string acoustic-electric guitar is lightweight yet resonant. It offers players a perfect blend of classic tone and advanced technology. A chambered mahogany body and solid cedar top provide the warm, rich voice of a traditional classical guitar. However, the onboard RMC electronics give you maximum control and flexibility. The 13-pin synth access allows you to connect to high-end guitar synths and modeling processors, opening up new creative possibilities.

Chambered Mahogany Body Delivers Authentic Acoustic Tone

The Multiac Grand Concert SA's chambered mahogany body topped with cedar produces the resonant, balanced tone of a fine classical guitar. Despite its lightweight feel, this guitar sings with a full, projecting voice that fills a room. The tonewood combination also provides a natural compression that evens out your playing dynamics.

Advanced Electronics Offer Unparalleled Versatility

While the Multiac Grand Concert SA excels as an acoustic instrument, its onboard RMC Polydrive electronics provide maximum control for any live or studio situation. The 3-band EQ lets you shape your tone with surgical precision. You can also connect to high-end guitar synths via the 13-pin synth access output, exploring new textures that would be impossible on a traditional classical guitar.

Fast, Comfortable Neck

The mahogany neck and Richlite fretboard feel familiar to steel-string players but provide the wider string spacing classical guitarists prefer. The slim, fast neck offers enhanced playability and comfort.

Premium Components and Construction

From its solid cedar top to its mahogany neck, the Multiac Grand Concert SA is built from premium tonewoods and components. It features a smooth, 19-fret Richlite fretboard, cream binding, and elegant gold die-cast tuners. A deluxe gig bag is also included, allowing you to transport your guitar safely to rehearsals, recording sessions, and live shows.

I would have given it a 5 except that the first one sent to me was defective- the pick up on the A (5th) string did not work. No problems with the return and the one I have now works great, at least so far.

  • I will try another one as this one was defective

When I received the item I plugged it into an amp and the interior pickup to the A string did not function, the other ones worked fine. I am expecting a replacement and hope this one will function correctly.
