The Gretsch G2420 Streamliner hollowbody single-cut with Chromatic II tailpiece is designed for the modern guitarist who yearns for something beyond the norm. A commanding guitar for powerful players, the Gretsch G2420’s modern sonics, updated electronics and authentically elegant style create the latest iteration of that great Gretsch sound.
Features of the G2420 Streamliner include a fully hollow arched maple body for rich fullness, deep resonance and a “big-body sound,” a soft C-shaped nato neck, 12"-radius laurel fingerboard with pearloid Neo Classic thumbnail inlays and 22 medium-jumbo frets, a real bone nut. The G2420 Streamliner is powered by a set of Broad’Tron BT-3S humbucking pickups with master volume, master tone and individual pickup volume controls that provide complete tone-shaping flexibility, plus push/pull coil splitting on the master volume. Other features include an Adjusto-Matic bridge with secured laurel base and a Chromatic II tailpiece. It’s capped by a 3-ply tortoise pickguard and nickel hardware.
