Guild BT-240E & BT-258E Deluxe Baritone Acoustics

Guild

collapse expand iconDescription

The BT-240E Baritone from Guild delivers jumbo tone with deep, moody richness and a gorgeous layering of low-timbre for a unique, mysterious sound. The arched mahogany back projects crisp low frequencies, while a solid spruce top provides a balanced delivery. The baritone is tuned B-E-A-D-F#-b, 5 steps down from a standard guitar and great for filling in an ensemble or for playing standalone. With full frequency baritone voice for extra character, the BT-240E Baritone is a great addition to any player’s arsenal.

    • Can't beat for the price

The quality of this guitar is really good considering the price. I could find no flaws in the woodwork or set up and the sound thru an amp is incredible! I changed the strings right away and will upgrade the tuners, these are the only things it needs. I am playing mine in the Pat Metheny tuning of A D g c E A where the middle two strings are an octave higher.

I've tried a few other baritone acoustic guitars and you can't beat the price on this one. The pickup makes the amazing sound reflect through a sound system well and does not have feedback like some competitors

I mostly write and use lots of open tuning's, having an acoustic that's already down to fourth opens up so many possibilities, and has top-notch Guild quality exactly as you expect. Great purchase!

This guitar sits on its stand in my Music room always ready for a quick play. I love the rich deep tone that this guitar puts out. Stays in tune and sounds great! Baritone guitars are few and far between and most cheap baritones just dont cut it. This one is the exception. You wont find a better Baritone at this price point!

I love the rich, lower sound of the baritone, and this is an affordable price. The Guild BT-240E sounds great unplugged or with my Acoustic A20 amp! Thanks, Guitar Center.
