Paiste

collapse expand iconDescription

A fusion of darkness, energy, projection and brilliance. Responsive feel and extremely controllable. Silvery, distinct ping over a thriving wash.

Signature Dark Energy cymbals combine depth, darkness, total musicality, and complex harmonics with brilliance, richness, and projection. Mark I cymbals tend to be a bit quieter, darker, and drier, while the Mark II Series are livelier and brighter.

Use it to play every style at different gigs. Blends well with other cymbals and it records great.

this ride is gnarly! Very sensitive! Play it lightly, and it purrs like a kitten. Then open it up some more, and it will roar like a lion! The wash is unlike anything i've ever heard. Great stick definition and bell is just sounds like a more prominent body hit. This ride is truly dark sounding, yet it has the brilliance that Paiste is known for. Crash is very strong and washy too.
